Make It Better: Philanthropy Awards
They say that what goes around comes around. For the Make It Better foundation, their annual Philanthropy Awards are all about rewarding non-profit organizations around the Chicago area. Make It Better took a day to travel to each of the lucky winners’ headquarters and pass along the good karma, and we were lucky enough to tag along and film the winners as they were taken by surprise and given their prizes and recognition. The organizations to receive the award this year were:
Gigi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Centers, Snow City Arts, Academy for Global Citizenship, Fresh Start Caring for Kids Foundation, Housing Opportunities and Maintenance for the Elderly, and the James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy.
We are very grateful for the chance to work with Make It Better and see those who’ve done good for the community be rewarded for doing so. The award and these organizations show that there are many forces for good still working in Chicago to help those in need, as well as ensuring education for young folks and helping to take the future and, well, make it better.
The footage we captured will be put together into a short promo video, and we look forward to sharing it with you all.
