Pass the Potion - The Palmer Squares

The lyrically gifted rap duo known as the Palmer Squares (that is, Acumental and Terminal Knowledge) have passed something along to us. From out of the rabbit hole, through a fuzzy minded filter of sloshing spirits and rising smoke, ‘Pass the Potion’ is a dank, dirty track from the depths of a one-night binge. The Squares deliver a flow that only they could unleash. The freakish whistling and the slow grinding beat trudges through the verses with an off-kilter swagger that’s hard to ignore.

Voices distort, the night flies by in a blur of psychedelia. Along for the ride with a guy on a one night bender, we sway and stumble along with our hero through a trial of intoxication.

Mirrored images and distorted scenery are abundant as the Squares guide the hero through the night and into the abyss inside his skull.

We love the rhymes of Term K and Acumental nd this song is a great tribute to substances.
