Music Video Update - Spring 2016

- It’s time for an update on some of our upcoming projects.

This time we’re focusing on music videos. We’re excited to get so many opportunities to collaborate with artists in the pursuit of great visuals to accompany their music.

These three projects may or may not have release dates set, but you can expect them in the next couple of moths.

What’s next on the slate for music videos?

First up-

Never Had Nothin by The Palmer Squares

You saw Pass the Potion, right? Our last music video featuring The Palmer Squares? Well since then, we’ve been deep into another collaboration with the Chicago rappers. From their upcoming album “Planet of the Shapes” - Never Had Nothin is a summer time anthem that celebrates the underdogs. It’s about not settling for less, burning bridges when you have to, and embracing everything you have; even if you have nothing.

Why by This is Lorelei

Somewhere in a field, amongst weeds and old concrete, you’ll find a mysterious character in a hat and a long coat, raking and wandering into strange encounters with red men and green babies. This is where we begin with “Why”, the next music video from the Director of Mea Culpa and Silent Movie. The banjo heavy and infectious track talks to us in a manner that's hum drum yet hopeful.

Get Up with the Get Downs - Live Session

This explosive funk-rock ensemble caught our eye a few months back with their performance at The Dojo DIY space in Chicago. Now, they’re back with a live session at the D.C Torium. This is an energetic blast of musical exertion. If the saxophones don’t reach out and grab you, the bombastic vocals surely will.

We’re also hard at work on future music videos beyond these three as well. You can find updates on them and our other work at our website: flowmotionmediachicago.com
